The Language Academy, through its website, grants the user who has subscribed and keeps and active subscription through the corresponding monthly payment the following service:
A non-transferable license to access the educational material provided by the website in the form of videos, online interactive exercises, pdf documents, as well as a price reduction when buying credits for scheduling video call lessons with our online tutors.
The service provided by The Language Academy and the contents of its website must be used for educational purposes.
The service is transferable among the people within the same household.
The availability of contents on the website is limited to compliance with the payment of the monthly subscription fee.
The Language Academy reserves the right to no longer provide the service, had the user not completed the required payments.
There are two separated types of fees:
Monthly subscription fee.
Necessary to have access to the e-learning materials. The amount is shown during the subscription process and it is only valid for one specific language.
Credits fee.
Credits are used to book video lessons with our online tutors. They are only valid for the language they were bought for.
The monthly subscription fee is charged every month on the same date of the original subscription day.
If a monthly subscription is scheduled for a date that does not occur in a month (such as the 31st), subscribers are charged on the last day of the month instead.
Both fees, the monthly subscription and the credits fee, can be paid using a credit card, debit card or PayPal.
Users can cancel their subscription anytime.
In order to request a cancellation, the user must send a cancellation request per email to the address contact@the-language-academy.com.
The user is compelled to:
Accept and obey the Terms and Conditions described on this document.
Accept the Privacy Policy of the website.
Respect the ownership of the intellectual property of the materials provided on the website.
Keep his/her payment method in order.
Do not perform, cause or attempt payment frauds.
The Language Academy is responsible for:
Obeying the Privacy Policy of the website.
Granting access to the educational materials pertaining to the language course that the user has an active subscription for.
Attending and providing high quality video call lessons at the date and time that the user specified.
